Laura Goldman Weinberg is an independent artist who allows the creative energy of life to dance through her onto the canvas. Her colorful expressions illustrate an emphasis on value contrasts which create wonderful linear movement and patterns. As a young child in elementary school, she won a blue ribbon for the color balancing of a crayon drawing. And since then, she studied and explored drawing, watercolor, oil, acrylic, tissue paper collage, and mixed media. She now favors acrylic paint on primed canvas, winning awards and continuing to exhibit in shows and galleries. Laura sees a blank canvas as a field of all possibilities and is filled with excitement and enthusiasm to witness the journey of the creative impulse. Laura’s wonder and joy of life radiates through the process and final manifestation of her works. Colorful, bright, happy, creative, energetic, fun, expressive are some of the words that describe her abstract style. She offers her gifts with a full and grateful heart to her community and the world. She continues to create and share her works with the hope of inspiring and uplifting others.
